TRY LACROSSE EVENT - SUNDAY, APRIL 18TH

Learn more about playing lacrosse!  No gear required - will have sticks on site.  If you, a sibling or a friend have a stick, though, feel free to bring it with you.   All participants, coaches and accompanying family members (limited to 1 per player) must wear masks.

BOYS & GIRLSĀ K-14U SPRING/SUMMER PROGRAM - REGISTRATION OPEN!

DEADLINES:

  • Boys K & 8U House:  Sunday, May 2nd
  • Registration deadlines for other programs passed, but we will accept late registrants as space is available.

UNIFORMS: 

  • Ordering Closed.  Players will be able to purchase uniforms from our extra inventory.
  • Girls K/8U and Boys K/8U House will automatically receive prior to the season.

2020-2021 AGE LEVELS BY BIRTH DATE

Age Level Birth Dates changed as of September 1, 2020.  It's possible your player may have aged-up.  See below for details.

NEW 2020-2021 AGE GUIDELINES
Effective 9/1/20 through 8/31/21

To choose the program your player is eligible to play, find his birth date in the date ranges below.

Kindergarten Program:  Current & Incoming Kindergarteners
 8U House & Travel Program:  9/1/2012 - 8/31/2014
10U Program:  9/1/2010 - 8/31/2012
12U Program:  9/1/2008 - 8/31/2010
14U Program:  6/1/2006 - 8/31/2008

*6/1 cut-off date is for current 8th grade boys only. 
Current 9th grade boys are not allowed to play on a 14U team per league rules.


NEW BOYS CHEST PAD RULES IN 2021 AND 2022

To protect against Commotio Cordis*, US Lacrosse has implemented new rules that boys chest and shoulder pads must meet NOCSAE certification.  These pads have been approved by NOCSAE.  Boys goalies must use the certified chest pads as of 1/1/2021.  Other boys players must use the certified shoulder pads as of 1/1/2022.

*Commotio Cordis (Latin, "agitation of the heart") is an often lethal disruption of heart rhythm that occurs as a result of a blow to the area directly over the heart (the precordial region) at a critical time during the cycle of a heart beat, producing what is termed an R-on-T phenomenon that leads to the condition.


AT-HOME LACROSSE IDEAS

You may be taking a pause on Youth Sports right now, or you may be focusing on a winter sport.  HOWEVER, you can still work on lacrosse skills at home!  Playing catch with your parent or sibling, or playing Wall Ball, are great options.  We have some resources on our website too:
