2021 14U GIRLS PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Spring / Summer Single Season $525
Season:  April 6 – July 31

The Girls 14U Program is a hybrid travel team program that encourages girls of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced, to play at every age group.

  • The Edina Girls 14U program is a spring/summer program which runs 17 weeks.
  • It is expected that girls will arrive at PRACTICES 10 minutes prior to the start of each practice and be ready to play (goggles on, sticks ready, mouth guards in) at the start of practice.
  • It is expected that the girls will arrive at games ready to warm up 30 minutes prior to game time.

We are enhancing our program by providing TCO Athletic Performance Training run by the professional staff from TCO. Approximately 6 sessions will be offered during the spring that will be tailored to the needs of youth girls lacrosse players to help them improve their strength and conditioning directly related to the sport of girls lacrosse. These sessions included as part of our registration fees and provided at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

**IMPORTANT NOTE!  For those 14U aged players interested in trying out for Girls High School (HS) teams, please register for HS PLACEHOLDER STATUS ($400) + in the registration section. For these players, payment for the EARLY SEASON ($125) portion will be collected, if applicable, once HS team status is finalized.

PRACTICES
Practices will be 1 1/2 hours long, 2-3 nights per week (mostly Monday-Thursday and some Sunday afternoons)

GAMES
- 2 to 3 scrimmages this spring.
- 8 regular season games this summer.
- Expect 1 game per week June - July.  Games are scheduled in the evenings.
- Games are against other local associations, typically within the Twin Cities metro area.  There will be some moderate travel for approximately half of the games.

SUMMER TOURNAMENT
We will participate in the Prior Lake Tournament June 25th – 27th.

TEAM FORMATION
Registration numbers will dictate how many teams are formed.  It is highly likely that an A team and B team will be formed for the summer teams, with tryouts taking place late May/early June – dates TBD.  For both teams at this level, the girls should treat this as their primary “in season” sport.

COACHES
College Lacrosse Players and Post-College Coaches are head coaches with parent coaches and HS players assisting.

As the season approaches, we'll have more details around volunteer opportunities.
