We are only 8 kids from our break even of 20 kids.  We want to open registration by Friday in order to have things in place for next Tuesday.  Please email me if your son wants to participate.

I will share a link to registration as soon as we are at 20.

mnlax.com is looking for 20 to as many 50 kids wanting to get a jump start on their youth Lacrosse game this summer during our 21 day evening camp to be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings each week June 22 through August 6 at Walnut Ridge Park on the west side of Edina.  Details can be found at http://www.mnlax.com.

  • Dates: 21 days - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights - June 22 through August 6.
  • Time: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Location: Walnut Ridge Park - restrooms on site - we think
  • Staff: Edina HS JV and Varsity players to coach 10 to 1 ratio or better - Danny Burke, David Burke, Colin Kramer, maybe - Peter Smith and Michael Sullivan - maybe even more
  • Who: any 2nd Grade boy with an interest
  • Who else: Mom’s and Dad’s wanting to learn the game and consider coaching in the future with the Edina Lacrosse Association programs are welcome!!!
  • Equipment: Stick (AKA - Cross), Lacrosse helmet and gloves or Hockey helmet and gloves!  Water
  • So here is the scoop.  We need 20 kids to break even.  If you can commit to participating email  and say so.  After 20 kids are on the list he will reply back with a private link to registration and payment.  If we get more than 20 kids there is a good chance the additional will come back to the players toward the end as prizes - maybe we will even cough up a cool T-shirt.  See you at Walnut! 
  • The fee will be $135 (21 hours of Lacrosse for about $5 per hour - sweet!) which includes a 25$ US Lacrosse membership - your registration data will be shared with US Lacrosse this helps with insurance and you get a sick US Lacrosse magazine every two months!

2009 Camps - Boys and Girls

Our boys' camp is July 20-23 and will again be directed by St. John's University Head Coach Mark Hellenack. A coach for over 25 years, Mark also coaches many select travel teams and has taken numerous youth MN squads to the Vail Shootout.
 
Our girls' camp is July 27-30, with Alyse Cullen returning to direct it for the 4th summer.  A former top collegiate player at Colorado College, Alyse has also coached at the high school and youth level.
 
The camp staff is comprised of top local high school and college coaches, and NCAA players who are dedicated to the individual development of each camper and serve as great role models to the campers. We are an instructional teaching camp and take pride in the improvement of each camper that we see during the week.

The summer schedules for girls and 3/4 boys begin in mid May...  The rest of the summer programs begin in June.  Please contact a grade coordinator if you are not contacted within 20 days of the start to your season.

Several families are having difficulty receiving email.  Please check your junk and spam folders for email from leagueathletics.com - our web site service provider.

To receive email at multiple locations please select "Edit My Account" from the navigation on the left side of this page.  Log in using your email address and password.  If you forgot your password ask the system to return it to you by email.  It should be returned within a few minutes.  From there you can edit or add members to your account.

When entering a child's email address, you can enter one that belongs to a parent if you wish.  When entering parents, you might enter a home address for one parent and a work address for the other.  That way, messages and notices will be sent to each.

Note that it's also possible to enter more than one address in the field.  Just separate each address with a comma, for example, MyName@home.net, MyName@work.com.
