In 2008 just over 600 player participants have been provided with an opportunity to learn, grow and exceed in the sport of lacrosse. Fewer than 15 board members and a handful of parent volunteers have provided the base to support this association and serve our youth participants.
ELA is seeking volunteers at the Board level to fill several open positions. There is a significant opportunity to impact the program through your participation - including chairing or serving on various committiees.

In order to continue along our growth curve we have decided to take a more formal approach to organizing our teams. In 2009 we will be requiring every team to have a team parent/guardian manager to coordinate communications and seek parent/guardian volunteers to provide for scoring, side line observation, set up and tear down at each game. Too few people have been performing too large a portion of the volunteer hours to continue our growth. Without this step and commitment from the community we may be forced to back off on the number of teams we sponsor.
